On-Campus Departments
- Admissions & Records: Provides information and assistance to students with admissions, registration, and
student records.
- Campus Safety: Assists with campus parking enforcement and promotes a safe campus environment. (Driver's
License required.)
- Career Services Center: Offers career guidance, resume assistance, and interview preparation.
- Child, Family, & Consumer Services: Preschool and Infant/Toddler Center (requires immunizations & Child Development majors
preferred)
- Disability Support Programs & Services (Office): Provides accommodations and support services for students with documented disabilities
- Disability Support Programs & Services (Computer Lab): Assists students with using assistive technology and provide technical support.
- Economic and Workforce Development (Office): Connects students with career training, workforce development, and industry partnerships.
- Economic and Workforce Development (Community Services): Offers courses that are short-term, fee based courses in areas of public interest.
- Economic and Workforce Development (Citizenship): Preparation course for citizenship test (located in Brawley)
- Economic and Workforce Development (Automotive Tool Room): Assistance in organizing and maintaining automotive tool room.
- Economic and Workforce Development (Computer Information Tech): Assistance to Computer Information Technology/Digital Design instructor.
- EOPS/CARE: Program that offers comprehensive support to students such as counseling, books grants,
tutoring, etc.
- Financial Aid Office: Assists students in obtaining financial resources to support their education.
- Foundation Office: Assists students with IVC Scholarships application.
- Human Resources: Supports the college by recruiting, hiring, developing, and serving employees. (Driver's
License required)
- Institutional Research: Supports data collection, reporting, and research that helps improve college planning
and decision-making.
- Marketing: Assists with marketing, event promotion, campus communications, and outreach initiatives.
- MESA Program: Supports STEM students by providing front desk assistance, scheduling appointments,
and answering general program inquiries.
- Purchasing Department: Assist in receiving, deliveries of packages, and inventory. (Driver's License required)
- Reprographics: Provides printing, copying, and document production services for the campus. (Driver's
License required.)
- Spencer Library: Assists with library services by organizing materials, shelving books, and supporting
daily library operations.
- Student Affairs (Office): Provides information about student activities, campus organizations, and social/recreational
activities.
- Student Affairs (College Center): Provides information about student activities and assist with student IDs.
- Student Health Center: Must maintain confidentiality and respond professionally to sensitive health and
mental health situations.
- Student Support Services: Provide support services such as new student orientation, counseling, and other workshops.
Off-Campus Agencies
- City of Calexico- Camarena Memorial Library (Library Aid): Assists library staff with daily operations, organizing materials, and with community
programs.
- City of Calexico- Camarena Memorial Library (Carnegie Tech Center): Assist staff with daily operations and supporting technology services.
- City of Calexico- Camarena Memorial Library (Tutor): Tutor adult literacy learners with basic literacy skills.
- City of Calexico- Carmen Durazo Cultural Arts Center: Supports arts, cultural, and community programs by assisting with office operations
and providing customer service.
- City of Calexico- Recreation Department (Sports): Assists with youth sports and recreational programs by supporting activities, events,
and participant engagement.
*CA Driver's License or US Passport will be required for all City of Calexico applicants
- ICOE Alternative Education: Assists front desk staff with customer service, clerical duties, and general office
support.
- Pioneer's Museum: Supports museum exhibits, collections, educational programs, and preservation of local
history.
- UCSD CAL-SOAP: Encourages high school students to explore higher education opportunities through
outreach and educational programs.
- UCSD EAOP: Assists staff with workshops, seminars, and other educational programs based on assigned
high school site.
- UCSD EAOP (Tutor): Tutor 9th grade students with math.
