In the spring of 2025, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the American Council on Education (ACE) released an updated framework to measure institutional impact. Imperial Valley College has been classified as an Opportunity College and University. This specific designation highlights IVC’s success in maintaining high levels of student access while ensuring graduates achieve significantly higher earnings, solidifying our role as an engine for upward mobility in our community.
