Construction is an ever-expanding industry and a skill that is needed worldwide. Our
Building Construction program trains men and women to enter the construction industry
as skilled professionals. Construction is a fascinating and challenging profession,
that allows workers to be creative, and continually improve on their skills and abilities.
Highly skilled construction technicians are needed in all aspects of the construction
industry, including concrete and masonry; drafting and estimating; carpentry; and
finish and trim. The construction industry erects our homes, with built-in design
for the comfort and pleasure of everyday living. Construction keeps business housed
and moving in commercial applications.
Opportunities for long-term employment, consistent work hours, increased job responsibilities
and earnings are available to those who enter this great profession. To qualify as
a wage earner in the modern day construction field, a person must possess technical
knowledge of construction design and the skills to apply that knowledge.
