Whether through the Federal Work-Study (FWS) program or other on-campus employment options, IVC connects students with part-time jobs that offer flexibility and professional growth.
Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program
The Federal Work-Study program offers part-time employment for students with financial need. Through this program, students can work on campus or with approved off-campus employers while earning wages to help cover educational expenses.
As a Federal Work-Study student, you can work up to 15 hours per week. Breaks are provided based on scheduled hours, and work cannot be conducted during class times, exams, holidays, or weekends without prior approval.
IVC’s online job board, Handshake, connects students with part-time jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities tailored to their majors and interests. Handshake offers personalized job recommendations and allows students to network directly with employers.
