Scholarships

The Imperial Valley College Foundation raises funds each year to fund hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships for IVC students. As opposed to Financial Aid, which is awarded by need, scholarships are based on merit. The top applicants for each scholarship are selected by various scholarship committees.

For more information about each IVC Foundation scholarship and to Apply to Scholarships, click here:

ivcf.awardspring.com

When you go there, you’ll need to register (for free) and then sign in to the IVC Foundation Scholarship Program hosted by AwardSpring. Once you login you can view details about any of our scholarships and start your application. Once you complete the general questionnaire, the system will then match you with all of the scholarships that you qualify for based on your initial application (i.e. GPA, Major, etc.). You will then be prompted to finish each of the scholarship applications which include essays and possibly other requirements to upload.

There are two categories of scholarships for IVC students:

Annual Scholarships & Application Dates:
  • For all current and future IVC students. These are applied for during the Spring semester for the following academic year.
  • Application Window: March 1 – April 30th annually; Award Date: August 1st annually
Nursing Scholarships & Application Dates:
